Well after two days MIA, I have made it back to Toronto from Newcastle. Its great to spend time with one’s family and even better not to have to think about what you are going to have for dinner. :p
Asides
It is 2:30 in the morning and insomnia, or perhaps memories of home and Thanksgiving dinner (which should be wrapping up around now), are keeping me awake. I can not help but wonder at what all of my classmates back at York are doing right now, most likely enjoying time with family and feasting on turkey.
I had spaghetti with pesto for dinner.
Random cool feature of Kate and Konqueror, if I FTP to this site and open a file (say style.css) and click save, it will upload the modified file to the server.
This may be true for other apps, I guess I will need to test this out.
Gosh am I an idiot.
First, I was using an old version of the scheme Fork. So I got the new scheme and made the necessary modifications. Turns out that the white space that I hated so much was in fact in the header image. DOH!
The next step is figuring out why the rollingarchives works sometimes and not others.
Oh Fall, my favorite season to just be outside with a camera. Thanksgiving occurs at a different time in Canada than it does in the United States. As usual, dinner was amazing, all glory to the great mother, maker of mash potates, tyrant of turkey and princess of pies!
The interesting thing about Thanksgiving at my house is, since my cousins are far away, the practice of inviting our friends over for a potluck if they do not have plans. This year, some of my mothers friends and my fathers best friend from univeristy came over and shared the food and company.
In film, our first actual film assignment is with super 8 film stock. As a side project, I made a treatment of Thanksgiving. I hope it will turn out nice.
On a realated note, I am in the market for a super 8 camera. So if you have one and would like to sell it. Send me an email andrew [at] aehunter.net.
