fantastic!!! thank you!!! mine got corrupted because gtkpod froze up while transferring &i had to kill it -- I was afraid i'd have to delete the files manually and then add them all again; having amarok do a "Stale&orphaned" was a hell of a lot easier... and i found 16 files that were duplicates, which freed up a whole album's worth of room! woot!

Yip, we've all done it.

PC users in general just aren't used to this "undocking" malarky that they face when using an iPod/iTunes/PC type set up.

I've got a mac and even I forget to undock stuff sometimes!

Good advice, thanks for your post.

Hey Andrew, the footage in class looked amazing... like I said I would like to bounce some things off you in terms of lighting and practicing lighting for our practical test next Weds. If you are cool with this I think we should book a day soon to brush up. Any day works for me except Sat, Sun... but all other days I am open.
get back to me.
cheers,
Greg

I hope by now you've gotten a digital camcorder. I just got one for my wife, and for around $300 it takes digital high-def, can take videos in extremely low light, and can film for hours.

Upgrade! Upgrade!

Do you think this makes sense to use such an old camera? Well, I bought it for 5$ with batteries, film, case, microphone and Hoya filter (filters alone are more expenssive:) just for cool look - it looks like archetype of film camera. But wasting time trying to waste film? Maybe, snuff films:))) To shoot single frames, digital cameras like Canon D SLRs are better- like this one used to film "Corpse bride."

Tried the deb on a testing feisty machine with no external packages.
The engine worked fine but the installed controls didn't. They all looked like that default root theme (the one Ubuntu uses when it can't find the current one).
Window borders worked correctly.
I also downloaded an specific theme for Murrine (Fresh) from gnome-look.org and it worked correctly.
